Favorite 'Dancing with the Stars' pro announces retirement

Another Dancing with the Stars pro said goodbye to the show. Even though her reason is very rational, people would like to see her dancing again.

On January 27, 2018, Kym Johnson shared more details about her pregnancy and the decision she and her husband, Shark Tank investor and former DWTS partner Robert Herjavec, will do.

Pop Culture reported that one of the most surprising things she said was that she would not dance again. However, she admitted that she would love to go back to the competition but taking a different role – judging or ‘doing something.’

Johnson made this announcement a month after she shared with her Instagram followers and the rest of the world that she was expecting twins.

Consequently, her decision to hang up her dance shoes is strictly related to how busy she would be when she welcomes her children, whose genders have not been revealed yet.

The fact that she retired from dancing doesn’t mean that she will not work at all. Johnson, who is 6 months along in her pregnancy, admitted that she will be taking care of her Los Angeles fitness studio from home.

Pop Culture pointed out that even though it can be stressful sometimes, it will be easier to manage than the ‘grueling’ schedule of Dancing with the Stars.

The twins will be Johnson’s first children. Herjavek, on the other hand, has welcomed three children already from a previous marriage. They have not been taking things slowly as they met on season 20 of DWTS in 2015.

Soon after that, they started dating, then they fell in love, and got married. On December 11, 2017, she revealed that she was pregnant as she shared the photo of her sonogram with one of the babies showing their thumb up.

A day later, she pointed out she would welcome twins. Her due date is for late April and she is very excited as she had to wait a long time to finally get pregnant.
