Former TV star found dead of an apparent suicide

Hollywood celebrities are shocked by the tragic and senseless death of the 'Glee' star.

Mark Sailing, the actor America knows best as “Noah Puckerman” from the hit musical comedy television series Glee was found dead on the 30th of January 2018 near his home, the victim of an apparent suicide.

The discovery of 35-year-old Sailing's body by the police occurred after a family member reported him missing, and LAPD conducted  a "welfare check."  Police sources revealed that Sailing had been dead for 'some time' and that cause of death was hanging.

According to Faith Family America, Salling had been prosecuted in  2015 on a case of child pornography, where it had been proved the actor reportedly had more than 50,000 images of minors.

He was awaiting his upcoming sentencing in March. It was believed his sentence would have had him serving a minimum of 7 years in prison.

Sailing had made a previous suicide attempt in 2016 after he had accepted a plea deal in which he pled guilty and elocuted his crimes. According to the New York Daily News, the actor cut his wrists but called to his roommate for help.

His friend immediately called 911 and Sailing was admitted to hospital and later sent on to rehab for further treatment and psychological counseling.

This time Sailing was alone and did not call for help. The grieving family has not released any details about the forthcoming funeral and has asked that their pain and their privacy be respected.

Sailing had pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography, subsequently registering as a sex offender and entering a treatment program.

He is the second cast member of Glee to die, after  Cory Monteith who died on July 13, 2013, at the age of 31, from a drug overdose.
