This woman never realized how her body was until one day when she looked herself in the mirror and decided she needed a change.

Back in July of 2016, Maryn Teed went to a family barbacue and when she saw the photos of the day, she bursted into tears; she was disgusted by herself, according to Pop Sugar.

On the 1st of August of 2016, she decided to start her weight loss journey and started cutting back on portion sizes.

With the help of the MyFitnessPal app, she tracked her calorie intake, going from a 2,000-calorie-per-day diet to consuming 1,500 calories or less.

After a while, she stopped craving the things she once loved so dearly and started loving the food that was actually good for her body.

Even though she cut back on calories, Teed upped her daily water intake in a massive way. She would drink half her body weight in water every day.

It may seem excessive, but Teed claims that taking baby steps is all that matters, as long as one is doing it. Apart from her calorie and water intake, she also incorporated more exercise into her routine.

She started by doing the 21-Day Fix workouts at home, and two months later, she found her current trainer, who has his own gym.

Nowadays, she works out with her personal trainer three to four times a week, and also goes to a local gym five to six times per week, giving cardio priority.

Furthermore, Teed believes that post-workout protein is essential to losing weight. Her personal go-to is premade protein shakes like Premier Protein and Muscle Milk.

So far, Teed has lost 105 and has shared what keep her motivated. Teed said: "Honestly, I'm so scared to be the person I used to be. I was such an unhappy person in so many aspects of my life that I am petrified to go back."
